I was amazed to Find out that America’s Cup is coming to New York City May 7 & 8 after an almost 100 year absence! I am not a sailor, hardly a boatsman, and even famously not interested in being on the water for long periods of time. However, one of my favorite movie scenes of all time is the yacht club scene in Caddyshack (hence the quotes in this post)! Nonetheless, this fantastic race can be watched in New York City (then Chicago June 10-12). Who doesn’t remember Team Oracle USA mounting one of the all-time greatest comebacks in sport, winning 8 consecutive races to retain the Cup against New Zealand in 2013? This week’s Find shows you how to join in on America’s Cup Action! “Hey, you scratched my anchor!” Get Up to Speed: The America’s Cup App If you don’t already follow the sport of competitive sailing, you need a primer to get up to speed quickly. I suggest you start at the AC App which has the live Leaderboard, latest news, results, as well as video and replays of all the action. This app will be indispensable in order to follow the action as it happens. You will impress your friends with your knowledge of the America’s Cup and be ready for race Day!
