New York is Back!
Something is happening. Something has surely changed. Of course, it's Spring and the weather has taken a positive turn. But the predominant feeling of dread and fear have been replaced by positivity & hope in the air. Restaurants are filling, apartments are being sold, Soho is filled with shoppers, and people are even attending sporting events. Of course, almost everyone here is wearing masks but there is less a sense of dread and fear which has been replaced by optimism and pragmatism.
I sense that I will soon be seeing friends, vaccinated friends, dare I say in my very own home??? It just so happens that I have the opportunity to a little family promotion this week in honor of this turn of events...
Barbara Lane Interiors
Is there anything more valuable than your home? The pandemic has reinforced the importance of enjoying where you live, especially if you are spending every moment there for work and life. Most people’s living spaces weren’t meant for this kind of wear and tear. The daily observation has prompted us to make many changes as well as appreciate what we have.
I always say that I am the luckiest person in the world. One facet to this luck is not only having a great wife but also having great in-laws. They are incredible people with whom I genuinely enjoy spending lots of time. A significant bonus has been that my mother-in-law, Barbara Lane, is a world-class interior designer. As a result, we have the very best designer who couldn't understand our needs more, curating our home! Hence, it is my distinct honor to share a book about her, her life, and, more important, her designs. The book was written by Barbara Lane and Tracey Pruzan, published by Pointed Leaf Press, enjoy!
Welcome back New York and I look forward to welcoming to my Barbara Lane designed home and consider Barbara Lane Interiors Book Found!
